As 2023 rolls out, yo-yos are among my few constants where I find peace and joy. Such a simple pleasure. I am reminded of Frank Conroy’s book “Stop Time”. He states; “The greatest pleasure in yo–yoing is an abstract pleasure – watching the dramatization of simple physical laws, and realizing they will never fail if a trick is done correctly.
In times of complexities and noise, find your inner peace through something simple that brings you joy and happiness. Then share with those around you.
